A classic brightening ingredient that rapidly improves skin radiance. Encapsulation enhances stability and prevents discoloration of phenylethyl resorcinol (SymWhite 377) in formulations. Also resolves compatibility issues with polymer thickeners, significantly increasing formulation flexibility.

Note: Cosmetics containing phenylethyl resorcinol require special approval for whitening claims.

Masks: 1%–5%; Lotions/Creams/Serums: 2%–10%

It is recommended to pre-disperse in hot water at 50 – 70°C with stirring, then add to the formulation after cooling.

Suitable for use in brightening and spot-correcting lotions and creams. Store away from light. It is recommended to include chelating agents and photostabilizers in the formulation.

It is recommended to control the final formulation pH within 4.0 – 6.0.
